Anissa Chaabane, Tunisian painter in Montreal

Her approach aims to bear witness first of all to the natural beauty (all beauties combined) in life and to evoke peace in all its aspects.

She masterfully combines the rigor of realism and the sensuality of Impressionism.

She adores bright colors, fleeting and furtive impressions, natural phenomena, the play of light. She strives to pass messages of peace and love through her creations.

In recent years, Mrs. Chaabane has exhibited her paintings in Tunis both in art galleries and in cultural centers, the themes of which varied from post-revolution Tunisia to peace in the world, including the status of women. She settled in Montreal in 2020 and hopes to be able to make her works known there.
